Work With Us

  • With decades of design and manufacturing experience, RIGBY offers a wide range of proven designs and ropemaking processes. Many RIGBY designs have become industry standards in North American ropemaking.

  • RIGBY processes begin with the highest quality raw textiles, which then go through plying (bundling of fibers to increase volume), twisting (to add various performance characteristics), and winding (depending on the rope formula and the final desired characteristics). This is all conducted in house.

  • The RIGBY factory in Panama features dozens of braiders in various sizes and configurations. We can manufacture rope designs in 6 carrier, 8 carrier, 12 carrier, 16 carrier, and 24 carrier configurations, at a wide range of diameters, tensions, helix angles, and other characteristics.

  • Docklines, Anchorlines, Fenderlines, and some other products are hand-spliced and finished.

    We can also provide custom-spliced or rigged assemblies.

  • Coils

    Most rope is packaged and shipped coiled on a reel, complete with two flanges (and is intended to be unrolled, not flown off the ends over the flange).

    Custom lengths are available. Custom put-ups are available.

    CPG

    Some finished goods are individually packaged such as Docklines and Anchorlines

  • RIGBY ropemakers have over 30 years of rope designs and manufacturing experience for a wide range of applications. Bring us your problem for custom industrial, commercial, recreational marine, automotive, or other application solutions.

  • RIGBY has a range of recreational marine (power & sail) products and we are seeking distribution partners in many countries. Inquire today.

  • RIGBY provides Private Label contract manufacturing of both stock product and custom designs, often at low Minimum Order Quantities. This can include bulk shipped product, or complete CPG packaging (for example, with docklines & anchorlines).

  • Where no distribution exists, or where distribution is limited to a certain channel, market or territory that does not suit you, RIGBY sells direct on reasonable MOQs, and can even supply small quantities via DHL package service.
